Christmas Eve

Are you enjoying this Christmas season?  Have you been able to spend much time thinking about the real reason behind it all?  There is a lot that can keep us from enjoying the season or remembering the reason for it, especially in 2020!

Take a minute out of all your busyness and join us for an opportunity to reflect on the real Christmas story.  I love the many different performances of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, “The Polar Express” is fun to watch, and “The Grinch” has always been a favorite, but none of those really speak to the reason we celebrate.  Gift giving and goodwill is a response to the Greatest Gift that came down on that first Christmas night.  In fact, even Santa Clause was an early church Saint who was known for defending the deity of Jesus Christ.  Come and celebrate Him together with us as we read the account from the Gospel of Luke, sing some carols together that tell the message musically, and enjoy some special music performed by people of the church.  We are going to keep the tradition of having this service here at the church building but we also plan on providing a livestream online here for all to enjoy.

It begins at 7PM and will be about an hour long.  I really hope you will join us!  Feel free to contact me following the link if you have any questions at all.  We ask that if you come in person you would wear masks coming and going and we have marked every other pew off to provide a safer environment.

Merry Christmas!
