It has been my privilege to pastor First Baptist of Elimsport these 20 years. God has brought together a wonderful group of people that are warm, friendly, and truly caring. I hope you will come and visit us!
Todd Baker, Pastor
Our Sunday Services
We desire our services to encourage, teach, and most of all focus our eyes on our God and Savior Jesus Christ. The Morning Worship service begins at 10:45 and has a time of singing, Scripture reading, and preaching. The service is designed so that every part points us to God as He is revealed in His Word, the Bible. For more information on our specific beliefs please take a look at our What We Believe page. For more information on the other times we meet check out the Service Times page.
We are asking that you will please wear a mask when you enter the church and anytime you are not in your pew. Once in your pew you can do what you feel is best, but anytime you are out of the seating area we ask that you be wearing a mask until you are outdoors.
Regarding future plans here at church, while we greatly miss Sunday School and providing children’s ministries, we can’t make any definite plans right now on when we will begin those fully. We trust you too are praying for ways that we can keep serving God and impacting our world for Him in the midst of this crisis.
Our facility is handicapped accessible on both levels with a lift to facilitate travel between both floors. There are two driveways to the parking lot, the main entrance to the upper level of our church is the paved driveway under the carport. These double doors will bring you into the main foyer where a greeter can assist you and direct you. The auditorium and the Pastor’s office are on this level as are some restrooms. You can also enter through the lower entrance off the parking lot which brings you into our church fellowship hall. Greeters are here also to assist you. Most of the classrooms for Sunday School are also located through this entrance.
The Lord focuses on the heart more than on the outward appearance, and we believe He wants us to do the same. There is no dress code at First Baptist, we want all to feel welcome and accepted. On a Sunday morning you will see a broad mix from dresses and suits to casual attire. Our other meetings tend to be more casual
For more information on these and other ministries, please see our ministries page. Contact us if we can answer additional questions you may have. We hope to meet you soon!
