Paul and Sandy Jewell - Campus Bible Fellowship missionaries reporting on 50 years of ministry.
I (Paul) put my trust in Christ at age seven at a school for missionary children in Central Africa. Sandy trusted Christ in her room at 15 years of age following an evangelistic meeting. We began dating in high school and both attended what is now Clarks Summit University. We married during college and independently felt a burden for secular college students through my participation in intercollegiate cross country and track and Sandy's job as a waitress.
We joined Baptist Mid-Missions in 1972 and moved to the Syracuse area in 1974. It has been a joy to reach students from all over the United States and the world through evangelism and discipleship. Many former students stay in contact. We have also ministered to some second-generation students. We "passed the torch" by mentoring another couple and will remain available to serve with them as long as we are able.
