Kids Club
is an exciting time for children ages 4 through 6th grade. Your child will sing, play games, and learn about God at a age-appropriate levels.

We meet most* Wednesday nights September through April from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.

*Occasionally there will be scheduled cancellations announced a week or two in advance. Unexpected cancellations, such as those caused by weather will be announced on 91.3 FM, 96.3 FM and 96.7 FM. Also, if Montgomery Area School District lets out early or cancels due to weather, Kids Club will automatically be cancelled.

Youth Group
If you are in Grades 7-12, we invite you to join us Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:15. You will get to learn God's Word, share together with other teens and have some time just to hang out.

There will also be exciting activities and outings throughout the year - hope we can see you there!

Men's Fellowship
Men join together to discover truths in God's Word for their lives.

Are you interested in getting together with some men to visit and learn God's Word? Join us for this very informal Bible Study on Thursday Mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the church library. No need to dress up, just show up, and leave when you must. Don't worry, the coffee is on.

Heartstring Ministry
Women unite for encouragement and guidance in God's Word.

Heartstrings Ministries is our Women's Ministry here at First Baptist Church. Annually we host a Ladies' Spring Banquet for ladies of all ages from the very young to the mature, but young at heart.

Heartstrings also hosts a Christmas tea each year on the first Saturday in December. We get together to celebrate God's gift of Jesus Christ and to share the good news with our invited guests. Each tea also has a theme. Some past themes have been, "Celebrate the Gift of Jesus", "Poinsettias", and "Butterflies".

At various times we have craft and quilt evenings, scrapbooking events, Christmas gift workshops, and a few times a "Girls Night Out" where we brought snacks and viewed a video and played a sharing game meant to help us know one another better. We have also held a 2 day fall retreat in the beautiful PA mountains of Waterville and had a wonderful weekend of fun, food, games, snacks, sharing, and hearing from God's Word. We hope to host this retreat again in the near future.

Please join us for any of our events where we fellowship, share, minister to one another, and learn more from the Word of God.

Golden Heirs
Golden Heirs is our ministry to those 55 and over. On the fourth Tuesday of the month there is a luncheon held at the church followed by a demonstration or other type of activity and a brief devotional. Everyone generally brings a dish to share, but if you can't, please don't let that stop you - there is always plenty to eat. Occasionally these luncheons at church are replaced by an outing to a local attraction. Other special activities take place at Christmas and Thanksgiving. Call for more details and come out and join us!

For Thanksgiving, we ask that you would call (547-6277) by Nov. 14th to let us know you are coming. The turkey is provided, let us know if you are willing to bring a side dish to pass.
